Plants

Rundvirke Poles currently has two plants equipped with specially adapted solid wood dryers for the highest possible production quality. Both plants also have complete collection stations for handling discarded impregnated material. Annual total production amounts to around 250,000 impregnated telegraph and power line poles and around 100,000 sleepers/stay anchors.

Ludvika

The plant is located about 220 km northwest of Stockholm. Production started as long ago as 1925 and has been continually modernised until it has become one of the most efficient plants in Europe.

Kälarne

The plant is located about 120 km northwest of Sundsvall. Production started in 1996 and it is one of the most modern pole plants in Europe.
