...our unique, environmentally-friendly system for recycling discarded poles and sleepers.

We take care of discarded impregnated material at our plants in Kälarne and Ludvika. We also provide transport to our recycling stations. On arrival, the timber is inspected to determine the impregnation agent and the level of elements such as arsenic and chrome. It is sorted for reuse or for fuel production. Some material is reused for specialist products, e.g. timber pilings, parallel sawn logs and anchor timber. Other material is chipped and incinerated in thermal plants.
