Environment and Quality

Rundvirke Poles AB is a member of the Swedish Wood Association, the Swedish Wood Preserving Institute and the WEI (European Institute for Wood Preservation).

Certification

Rundvirke Poles is quality certified according to SS-EN ISO 9001-2009 and environmentally certified according to SS-EN ISO 14001-2008. The company is also qualified as a supplier to the Nordic energy branch Sellihca and to the Scandinavian transport organisations according to Trans Q.

Inspections

During the production process we have a number of quality controls. Before impregnation our checks include straightness, occurrence of knots/knots groups, spiral grain and rot. We also check that the moisture content does not exceed 28%. After impregnation we inspect the penetration and absorption of the impregnation solution in the sapwood.

Marking

Rundvirke Poles has a quality assurance system that fulfils the requirements of SS-EN 351-1 and NTR Document no 1:1998. We are therefore permitted to mark our products in accordance with the Nordic wood preservation classes.

Standard – Quality

Our products are manufactured in accordance with the most commonly occurring International standards.
