About Rundvirke Poles
Rundvirke Poles AB is a wholly owned Swedish family company, the oldest part of which was established as early as 1899 in Dalarna county and is now one of the largest and leading manufacturers of pylon poles in Europe.
Growth with environment and quality in focus
Rundvirke Poles AB is part of Rundvirke Industrier with about 200 employees in Sweden. Environment and quality are value concepts that permeate the entire group. Each year the company delivers between 175,000 and 220,000 impregnated pylon poles in lengths of between 7 and 23 meters. Also, some 250,000 sleepers are delivered annually. The export share is growing and is significant.

Production facilities
Rundvirke Poles AB has two production facilities in Sweden. The largest production facility is situated in Kälarne, Jämtland county, which is some 110 kilometres from Sundsvall and 90 kilometres from Östersund. The other production facility is in Ludvika, Dalarna county, where our head office is. Both production facilities have considerable stock levels so as to be able to serve our customers quickly in events such as autumn storms.
